The Role:
As Foreman, you will:
- Lead and supervise a team of operatives on various general civils and infrastructure projects. These projects may include but are not limited to: earthworks, drainage, roadworks, groundwork's, and utilities.
- Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
- Monitor progress against the project schedule and budget.
- Manage materials and resources effectively.
- Maintain a safe and healthy working environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Liaise with the Site Manager, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Resolve on-site issues and problems effectively.
- Ensure that all work complies with the project specifications and drawings.
- Promote a positive and productive working environment within your team.
What We're Looking For:
- A proven track record as a Foreman or similar role within the civil engineering industry.
- Extensive experience in general civils and infrastructure projects, encompassing a range of activities such as earthworks, drainage, roadworks, and utilities.
- Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
- A proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
