Adult Social Care Senior Solicitor (Hybrid/Remote) needed in Stafford, at £370 - £450 per day PAYE - Reference: 5270861

We are currently seeking a lawyer to support our Adult Social Care Team.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a local authority with a strong working knowledge of Adult Social Care legislation and be able to pick up a full caseload of matters at varying levels.

Ideally the candidate will be able to come to the office each Wednesday to be able to work alongside the team. However for the right candidate, consideration will be given to this role being full remote save for a requirement for them to attend the office in person to be inducted for 1 day at the start of an assignment and to collect equipment and to attend at the end of the assignment in person to return all equipment, at the candidates cost

Day rate for this role - £370 - £450 dependant on knowledge and experience

  • s21A applications
  • Ordinary Residence
  • Court of Protection
  • Funding and Charges
  • Challenging LA decisions
  • Healthcare funding disputes
  • Displacement of Nearest Relative
  • S.16 applications
  • Judicial Review
  • Best interest and disputes thereof
  • Mental Capacity
  • Inherent Jurisdiction
  • Childcare to Adult Social Care Transition Matters
  • Deprivation of liberty


Ideally have experience of working within a case management system (Iken Cloud) and to complete time recording for all tasks

Adherence to Lexcel standards

This is a Full time role on a temporary contract basis
