Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hard-working Yard Operative to join our team. As a Yard Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the yard, ensuring all waste and recycling materials are handled appropriately, and supporting the smooth operation of the yard.
Job Details
• Full time Monday-Friday
• 8am - 4pm
• popular area that's easily accessible by bus
Responsibilities
• Organise and maintain the yard to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
• Handle and sort waste and recycling materials
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations
• Assist with loading and unloading materials for transportation
• Collaborate with team members to ensure tasks are completed effectively and efficiently
• Support general yard maintenance and cleanliness
Qualifications
• Experience in the waste and recycling industry or similar industrial sectors (not a necessity)
• Understanding of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Physical capability to perform manual labour tasks
Day-to-day
• Arrive on time and ready to work
• Organise and maintain the yard throughout the day
• Sort and handle waste and recycling materials
• Collaborate with team members to achieve daily objectives
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations within the Yard
