Home School Liaison Officer - Ysgol Bryn Castell
Job description
37 hours per week
The Governors of Ysgol Bryn Castell Special School wish to appoint a Home School Liaison Officer to work with the community of Ysgol Bryn Castell to promote attendance, engagement, safeguarding and wellbeing of pupils supporting them to work towards achieving self-regulation and independence. The successful candidate will use a positive, innovative, solution-focussed approach to support and provide specialist care, support and guidance to pupils with complex and challenging behaviour, and their Parents, carers and families.
Ysgol Bryn Castell (YBC) is a community day special school maintained by Bridgend County Borough Council which provides education for pupils aged 7 to 19 years old with complex Behavioral, Emotional and Social Difficulties (BESD) including Autism alongside specific learning difficulties and other additional learning needs.
Applications would be welcome from colleagues looking to further their professional learning journey in an inclusive caring environment who are passionate about enabling every young person to achieve their full potential.
