General Duties
Order picking various stock items from the warehouse, packing, weighing and preparing items for dispatch daily.
Quality Control checking products entering and leaving the Company by working with warehouse staff directly.
Stock control and replenishment across the warehouse and completing associated paperwork and ensuring warehouse daily tasks are completed.
Assisting with daily deliveries ensuring stock is booked, checked and allocated to correct locations. Work with the management team to ensure staff and stock are in place to do the job.
Maintaining a safe, clean and tidy work environment both inside the warehouse and outside in the delivery area.
Drive the company van to deliver and collect products around the Birmingham area and greater UK when required.
Assist the Sales team with stand merchandising events when required including any potential overnight stays across the UK.
Minimum Requirements
Full UK Driver’s License with experience of driving a LWB Van
Narrow aisle and counter balance forklift licence an advantage
Experience of working in a warehouse team environment and exposure to day to day management of staff.
Experience of working with customers directly to meet their requirements
Comfortable with Office Applications e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook
Experience of running the day to day operations of a warehouse environment.
Hours: 41 hours per week - 8am-5pm Mon-Thurs, 8am to 3pm Fri.
Pay: £14 per hour based on 41hr working week ( negotiable )
