We have a friendly and supportive team who are passionate about providing top quality service to our patients across Bacon Road Surgery and Taverham Surgery. Job summary: We have an exciting opportunity for a Patient Coordinator to join our team at Bacon Road Surgery, on a permanent, part-time basis for 22.5 hours per week. We offer a two-week induction whereby you will have time with our team to gain a good understanding of how the practice operates. Main duties of the job: Offer general assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone. The post-holder should recognise the importance of effective communication within the team, patients and other healthcare professionals. Ensure that all our patients have access to a safe surgery environment. Receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient, and effective way. Monitor and maintain the reception waiting area ensuring patients are kept informed in the event of any unforeseen circumstances or updates to clinics. Undertake a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of the practice, including the provision of clerical support to clinical staff and other members of the practice team. Ensure accurate documentation within patient records via Systmone. Monitor and respond to online communications via our online system, Systmconnect.
