Job Title: Support Worker (Female Driver Required) Location: Bournemouth BH9 Pay: £13.66 per hour + On-call Retainer Pay Contract: Part-time, Permanent (15-25 hours/week)

We're looking for compassionate, dependable, and resilient female support workers to join our dedicated On-Call team in Bournemouth. This role involves providing care and support to individuals with learning and/or physical disabilities. Due to the personal care responsibilities and the sensitive nature of the support required, this position is open to female applicants only (as permitted under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1).

What the Role Involves:
  • Supporting individuals to live independently, day and night

  • Delivering personal care with dignity and compassion

  • Responding to emergencies and stepping in to cover shifts when needed

  • Supporting staff over the phone or in service

  • Handling admin tasks, collecting prescriptions, and covering sickness

Shift Details:
  • Two roles available on a rolling two-week rota

  • On-call overnight shifts with retainer pay: £15 (weekdays) / £25 (weekends)

What We're Looking For:
  • Female applicants only (Genuine Occupational Requirement)

  • Full UK manual driving licence (required)

  • Confident with lone working and providing personal care

  • Strong communicator with a practical, can-do mindset
