We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Cardiff to assist with the appointment of a Higher Clerical Assistant, on a 3-month contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £12.40 - £16.00 per hour

Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and organised Reception & Administrative Assistant to provide front-desk and general office support at Hafan Gobaith. The role involves greeting visitors, handling calls, booking travel and accommodation, and assisting with finance and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

Cover reception: greet visitors and answer telephone calls
Record incoming and outgoing mail using relevant spreadsheets
Book travel (taxis, trains, buses) and accommodation as required
Assist with processing credit card expenses
Update records using the Carefirst Client Record System

Skills and Requirements:

Previous experience in a reception or office support role
Good IT skills, including experience with spreadsheets and databases
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Attention to detail and reliability in handling sensitive data
Knowledge of Carefirst or similar client record systems (desirable but not essential)

You should have right to work in U.K
This role requires a Basic DBS
