Service Engineer - Electrically Biased
Airdrie | Up to £36,500 + Van + Fuel Card + 29 Days Holiday
Permanent | Monday to Friday

Escape Recruitment is working exclusively with a well-established engineering services firm based in Airdrie. They're looking to hire an experienced, time-served Service Engineer to join their growing team - someone either electrically biased or mechanically trained with solid electrical hands-on knowledge.

This is a mobile role, where no two days are the same. You'll be covering a wide range of sites across commercial, industrial, and nuclear environments, providing fault finding, breakdown, and repair services on overhead cranes, hoists, and lifting gear.

What you'll be doing:

  • Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults on overhead cranes and hoists (wire rope and chain)

  • Reading and interpreting electrical circuit diagrams

  • Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance work across various client sites

  • Following H&S procedures at all times

  • Working alongside the wider engineering team to support client operations

What we're looking for:

  • Time-served engineer with a strong electrical bias

  • Maintenance or service engineering experience (essential)

  • Knowledge or experience of overhead crane systems (desirable, but not essential)

  • Full UK driving licence

What's on offer:

  • Basic salary £36,500

  • Company van and fuel card

  • 29 days holiday

  • Monday to Thursday 8am - 4:30pm, early finish Friday (3:30pm)

  • Company pension

If you're a skilled engineer looking for a steady role with variety, apply now or get in touch to find out more.
