We are looking for a motivated and diligent Exams and Quality Assistant to join our team here at Portland Charity. We are looking for someone who has a strong commitment to high standards of quality and accuracy across the Education department.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Exams and Quality FE Lead, supporting with the coordination of exams and timetabling; liaising with external organisations; and taking an active role in exam invigilating. The Exams and Quality Assistant will also play a crucial role in the coordination of qualifications for staff and learners, which will include liaising with examining bodies, collaborating with staff across the college, taking part in the standardisation process, and leading on key quality assurance tasks relating to examinations and qualifications.
To thrive in this role, it is essential that you are confident in using IT, and you should be able to demonstrate an ability to use databases and spreadsheets. You will also be required to write clear and detailed reports; therefore, accuracy and strong written communication skills are a must, as well as the ability to manage your own time and work efficiently within specific time frames.

Qualifications needed
• Functional Skills in maths and English at Level 2 or equivalent
• Training, Assessment, Quality Assurance Level 4 or a willingness to work towards.
Working Hours
Monday – Friday: 8:30am – 4:30pm (there may be some flexibility to these hours which can be discussed at interview).
