TeacherActive is currently recruiting experienced and confident Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong classroom management skills who are committed to supporting young people in a structured, engaging learning environment.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-set lessons, maintaining order in the classroom, and ensuring students remain on task in the absence of the regular teacher. While planning and marking are not required, a professional and adaptable approach is essential.
Requirements:
• CACHE Level 2/3 qualification or a minimum of 6 months of relevant classroom experience
• Confident in managing whole-class behaviour and maintaining engagement
• Able to supervise across different subjects and year groups as needed
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow school policies and routines
