Starting salary c.£45,000- £50,000 per annum (depending on skills, knowledge & experience) Permanent | Full-time | All-year round (52 weeks per year)An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, experienced and talented Senior Support Engineer to join our IT department.The Senior Support Engineer's main responsibility will be to maintain and optimise the School’s network infrastructure. To provide cover for the Head of IT, and to take the Technical Lead on specific projects as determined by the Head of IT and the School’s Leadership Team. The role will involve managing the Microsoft AD, Extreme network and Extreme Cloud IQ Wi-Fi environments whilst ensuring seamless connectivity, security, and efficient operations.This position therefore requires a proven strong technical background, excellent hands-on skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.This role is a permanent position working full-time, all-year round. The starting salary for this role is £45,000-£50,000 per annum. The working hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm plus 8:00 to 12:00 one Saturday per month during term-time and be on-call as per the department’s rota, additionally 1 Sunday per year for Summer School Further information and a full job description can be found on our website.
