IT Systems Support Engineer
Location: Abergavenny | Full-Time, Permanent
Are you an experienced IT professional with a strong background in supporting infrastructure and manufacturing systems? We're recruiting for an IT Systems Support Engineer to play a key role in maintaining and enhancing IT operations that support high-quality, timely production within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support for manufacturing systems and associated infrastructure

Maintain and manage server, desktop, and network environments
-
Ensure optimal system performance with minimal disruption
-
Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network security
-
Develop reports and minor applications to resolve operational issues

Collaborate on system strategy, planning, and improvement initiatives
Mandatory Skills & Experience:
-
Windows Server 2012 and newer
-
Windows 10 / 11 support
-
Active Directory management
-
SQL Server (2008+): administration and query writing
-
Hands-on hardware maintenance (servers and PCs)
-
Ability to work independently and proactively
Desirable Skills:
-
Application development using C# / .NET
-
Dynamics AX 2009 functional experience

Microsoft 365 administration
