What You'll Be Doing
As an Import Logistics Coordinator within the International Logistics Department, you'll be a key player in supporting life-saving operations. Handling 70-100 imports per month, you will help manage and optimise newly implemented import processes in an evolving and dynamic environment.

Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating clearance instructions for items sourced for internal use, items returned for repair, and test equipment.

  • Managing the Return Material Authorisation (RMA) process from customer contact through to receipt of goods.

  • Collaborating with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and HMRC to ensure seamless logistics.

  • Overseeing Customs Compliance processes, including Inward Processing Relief (IPR), Returned Goods Relief, and Home Use procedures.

  • Maintaining accurate and auditable import shipment records.

  • Verifying shipping documents and MSS reports for customs compliance.

  • Communicating effectively with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience in import logistics within a manufacturing environment, with familiarity in Returned Goods Relief, IPR (for Repairs), and Home Use.

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.

  • SAP or similar ERP system experience (training available if required).

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-focused approach.
