A permanent vacancy has arisen in the Supply Chain department for a Customer Account Manager.

Acting as the liaison between the customer and the factory, the Customer Account
Manager is responsible for understanding and converting customer demand into an order plan matching
available capacity thereby ensuring On Time In Full delivery.


The successful applicant will be responsible for a variety of tasks including:
 Main point of contact for all supply related queries from external customers.
 Receipt, processing and analysis of customer orders and forecasts for existing products and launch products.
 Ownership of customer order books and all related communication.
 Communication of obsolete input materials, finished goods stock and production information to customers.
 Communication of customer demand and information to the rest of the internal organisation.
 Leading role in customer performance reporting, analysis and reviewing.
 Extensive liaison with internal departments and external parties ensuring clear communication and effective execution of the role.
 Monitoring, measurement and challenging as appropriate of On Time In Full results to ensure agreed objectives are met.
 Completion of daily and monthly reporting.
 Maintaining integrity of X3 ERP system through regular cleansing of sales and works orders.
 Participate in Supply Chain improvement plans as appropriate.

other team members and autonomously.
The following qualifications, skills, experience and aptitudes are also required:
 High proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software, in particular MS Excel.
 Conscientious & self-motivated.
 Ability to communicate appropriately and confidently with external and internal stakeholders via both telephone and face-to-face.
 Desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
 A professional and positive attitude.
 Ability to work under pressure to achieve tight deadlines.
 Highly organised.
 Flexible/adaptable.
 Good standard of general education.
 AS level Mathematics and English (or equivalent).
 Assertive.
 Fluency in English.

Salary is £31,000 - £32,000 per annum
