What skills and experience we're looking for

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Must possess QTS and be eligible to work in the UK.
• Current Knowledge of National Curriculum: Demonstrated ability to stay updated on all subjects within the National Curriculum.
• Key Stage 2 Teaching Experience: Proven experience or practice in teaching KS2, with a track record of successful curriculum delivery that demonstrates innovation, progression, continuity, and differentiation.
• Commitment to Equality: Fully comply with all Equality Policies and demonstrate understanding of the needs of a multicultural community.
• Positive Promotion of School Aims: Ability to promote the school's aims positively and use effective strategies to monitor motivation and morale.
• Team Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to develop good personal relationships within a team.

Further details about the role

We are seeking to recruit a dynamic and enthusiastic classroom Music Teacher who can bring their own unique ideas to our enthusiastic and hardworking team. The successful candidate will cover one day per week teaching at the school leading whole school singing and delivering the music curriculum through whole class Ukulele and Guitar sessions across KS1 & KS2. A relevant music qualification, teaching experience, and understanding of the Kodály method is desirable.
