Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing safety policies
Creating and updating safety procedures to comply with relevant regulations.
- Risk assessment and management:
Identifying potential hazards and risks in the workplace and implementing measures to mitigate them.
- Monitoring and reporting:
Tracking safety performance, investigating incidents, and reporting on key metrics.
- Training and awareness:
Educating employees on safety procedures and promoting a positive safety culture.
- Compliance with regulations:
Ensuring the organization meets all relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation.
- Environmental management:
Overseeing the organization's environmental impact and promoting sustainable practices.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in similar role
- Main contractor background
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and organisational skills
- Need to be agile, switched on and able to think on your feet
