We have 3 vacancies for 1:1 Named Child Teaching Assistants to support children with specific needs with their teaching and learning.We are looking for an adaptable, flexible and resourceful individual who has experience of working with children who have specific requirements ranging from visual impairment to learning and cognition needs.Job Overview Working under the direction of the SENCo you will be required to:Build a positive relationship with the child being an approachable, caring and supportive role modelDisplay a commitment to a nurturing approach in order to develop the whole child.Accurately assess risk and support to ensure safety Work effectively both individually and within multiple teamsWork flexibly and use their own initiative Communicate effectively with children and adults both verbally and in writingLiaise effectively with external agencies with the support of the SencoSupervise the child for part of lunchtime.Maintaining a safe and positive environment for all learners, with a commitment to Safeguarding for all. Good opportunities for personal and career development.Job DetailsThis position is a Temporary contract, but and will continue for as long as the Named Pupil attends Oaktree Primary SchoolThe role is based on a K Grade with pay dependent on previous experienceThe role is term-time + TD days (39 weeks per year), with 44.85 paidWork Hours are Monday to Friday, 8.40 to 3.10, with 30 minutes for lunchNote: Applicants will be considered as received. Should suitable candidates be identified, we may close the vacancy early.Oaktree Nursery and Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
