Salary Grade: Prince Henry’s Support Staff Pay Scale range B8 – B10, starting at Point B8
Salary Range: £24,890 per annum - £25,645 per annum – starting at £24,890 per annum
Hours: Full time or Part Time available (Term Time Only)
Responsible to: Head of Art, Design and Technology
Prince Henry’s High School are seeking to appoint a technician to support the Design and Technology Department at Prince Henry’s High School. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and reliable person to provide practical support to the Department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing a wide range of resources, the general maintenance of tools, equipment and stock, ensuring appropriate equipment is safely maintained and available for all lessons. Carrying out machine safety checks, as well as ensuring teaching areas and resources are maintained are also part of the role.
The department has a suite of well-maintained, resourced rooms and a large purpose-built technician workshop.
This post is available as full-time position, with an additional support role to the site/caretaking team.
There is flexibility in the contracted hours, which will be discussed at interview.
