We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic Kids Club Activity Leader to join the team within the Breakfast Club at Gorsey Bank Primary School. You will play a vital role in providing safe, fun, and educational experiences for primary school children. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to create a high-quality, child-focused play environment. This position will be based in our Kids Club which offers a safe and happy ‘home from home’ play based environment. We are seeking an individual who is available to work during our Breakfast Club hours (7:30-8:45am)If you would like to join our Laurus family in a rewarding role that changes the lives of our pupils by empowering them to become the best that they can be then we would love to hear from you. This position is contracted on a 14 hours per week Term Time Only basis. This means you will mainly work when the school is open to pupils and will not need to work during the school holidays unless the contract requires you to do so. In total you will be in work for a minimum of 38 out of 52 weeks.Job Purpose (For further details on the role, please find the Job Description below)Supervise children, organising/preparing appropriate play-based activities and ensuring the environment is left in a clean and tidy condition at the end of each session.Provide a high quality, child-centred play setting that meets the needs of all children and their families, including those with additional needs.Key Skills & ExperienceAbility to support play activities that children enjoyExperience of working with children aged 4 –11 years would be an advantageExcellent planning and organisational skillsTo learn more about what the Trust offer, including our wide range of employee benefits and access to further professional learning, visit our Careers page.
