Join Our NPD team in Nottingham as a Kitchen Assistant!
Location: The Compleat Food Group, Crossgate Drive, Nottingham, NG2 1LW
Working Hours: Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:00 - 37.5 hours per week
Pay: £25 000 per annum
Reporting To: Head Chef - Pastry Division

customers across the UK and beyond. We're on the lookout for a proactive Kitchen Assistant to support our talented NPD Chefs and
help keep our development kitchen running like clockwork.

Your Role:
As a Kitchen Assistant, you’ll be:
* Supporting the NPD team with day-to-day tasks in a busy development kitchen
* Maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen, fridge, freezer and storage areas
* Carrying out scheduled hygiene and cleaning duties (daily, weekly, monthly)
* Monitoring and recording fridge and freezer temperatures to ensure compliance
* Organising and managing stock of raw materials, ingredients and packaging
* Assisting in the preparation for customer taste panels and internal presentations
* Logging samples and products into our NPD control documents
* Taking part in ongoing training and development opportunities
What We’re Looking For:
* A team player who’s also comfortable working independently
* Strong attention to detail, hygiene, and organisation
* Passion for food and a keen interest in culinary innovation – chef training is a bonus!
* Good communication and time management skills
* Reliable, punctual and eager to learn
* Previous kitchen or food production experience is a plus – but not essential
