ABOUT US

At Nova Express Recruit, we’re not just building an online recruitment platform, we’re on a mission to shake up an industry that’s needed change for a long time. Our aim is to empower jobseekers by creating a platform that truly connects them with organisations looking for talent. Through our simple, easy-to-use interface, we want to bridge the gap between candidates and employers, making it easier for everyone to find the right match. It’s also about building a more inclusive, human-centred, and future-ready approach to employment support.

ROLE PURPOSE:
This is not a traditional recruitment role, it’s an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of a movement transforming the way people connect with work. As an Engagement Specialist, you will be joining us to support our NovaWorks hub, working directly with the founder to achieve key milestones. Your role will involve supporting our hybrid platform, NovaWorks, helping to build meaningful, values-driven connections that empower individuals and strengthen organisations.

You won’t be matching CVs to vacancies; instead, you’ll focus on creating genuine relationships between jobseekers and employers, opening up new opportunities grounded in shared values. You will have the unique opportunity to support the growth of the project through dynamic workshops, personalised coaching, and ongoing support.

If you’re passionate about helping people, driven by making a real impact, and eager to be part of something innovative, this role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference every day.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support jobseekers through energising, inclusive workshops and one-to-one coaching, fostering confidence and resilience.
• Assist employer clients by understanding their values and talent requirements, facilitating meaningful, purpose-driven connections.
• Work closely with the founder to support the development and delivery of services and enhance the user experience on the NovaWorks platform.
• Help users navigate the NovaWorks platform, ensuring they access relevant tools and resources to support their journey.
• Collect and analyse feedback from jobseekers and employers to contribute to ongoing service improvements.
• Collaborate with the wider team to ensure a seamless, supportive, and values-led experience for all users.
• Maintain accurate records and support monitoring, evaluation, and reporting activities.
• Participate in outreach and community engagement activities to raise awareness and foster trust.
• Contribute to creating and delivering engaging, accessible content for workshops and events.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:
• Strong organisational skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Confident communicator capable of engaging diverse audiences in both group and one-to-one settings.
• Empathetic, supportive, and committed to delivering inclusive, person-centred support.
• Enthusiastic about learning and growing in the role, demonstrating initiative and a proactive attitude.
• Able to work independently and as part of a small, purpose-driven team.
• Experience or familiarity with recruitment, employability support, or community engagement is desirable but not essential.
