Mobile HGV Technician
Location: Rugby
Salary: Up to £47,000 per annum
Shift: Monday to Friday

We're hiring a Mobile HGV Trailer Technician to join a growing team covering the Rugby area. This is a great opportunity to work with a market leader in transport solutions, with a strong benefits package and full product training. You'll be responsible for the inspection, servicing, and repair of trailers to high safety and performance standards while working independently in the field.
Key Responsibilities of a Mobile Trailer Technician
• Carry out inspections, servicing, and repairs on trailers
• Diagnose faults and complete work using systems such as HALDEX, WABCO, and KNORR BREMSE
• Complete compliance and service documentation accurately
• Provide great customer service while working to deadlines
• Follow health and safety standards
• Take part in ongoing training and development
Skills and Qualifications for a Mobile Trailer Technician
Essential
• Experience working on semi-trailers or heavy vehicles
• City & Guilds or NVQ qualifications
Desirable
• HGV Class 1 licence
• IRTEC accreditation
• Experience with EBS diagnostics (Knorr Bremse, Haldex, WABCO)
• Welding experience
• Knowledge of BPW, SAF, or JOST axle systems
• Tail lift and lifting deck experience
