Crynodeb
Search are supporting the recruitment of a Management Accountant to join our client's Finance team in Edinburgh with hybrid working. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this is a key role within the Business Support function, providing financial insight and operational support to ensure the firm's continued success and sustainability.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Preparing monthly management accounts, including accruals and prepayments
* Supporting the annual budgeting process and producing monitoring reports for senior management
* Leading the firm's annual audit process and reviewing ledger postings
* Developing and maintaining a suite of management reports and financial dashboards
* Interrogating financial data to support strategic decision-making
* Managing VAT submissions and maintaining supporting schedules
* Supporting changes to accounting and reporting platforms
* Deputising for the Head of Finance when required
Skills and experience that will benefit your application:
* Accountancy qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, CA)
* Strong experience in management accounting and financial reporting
* Excellent data analysis and reporting skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
* Understanding of finance operations including billing, accounts payable, credit control.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to manage a varied and high-volume workload
