At Brook Street, we are thrilled to offer you an opportunity to support vital healthcare services in a dynamic environment.

What We Offer:

  • Salary of £12.31 per hour.
  • Work Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Temporary, on going

Key Responsibilities:

  • Making new and review outpatient appointments, ensuring adherence to NHS referral and waiting time guidelines and managing outpatient waiting lists.
  • Processing referrals for diagnostic and specialist procedures, adding them to hospital IT systems, and handling centralized booking requests, often in a rotational capacity across different services.
  • Managing first appointment bookings for designated services, registering referrals on patient administration systems promptly, and forwarding referral letters to relevant services within agreed timeframes.
  • Monitoring waiting lists to ensure patients are booked according to access policies, escalating potential breaches, and liaising with clinical staff to arrange urgent appointments as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 4 GCSEs (Grades A-C), including English Language, plus 1 year of experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is essential.
