We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join a dynamic and supportive team. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love for literature and language while helping them achieve academic success. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as an English Teacher:
Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
Contribute to departmental planning, moderation and enrichment activities.
Participate in parents’ evenings, departmental meetings and ongoing professional development.
Ideal English Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
A degree in English or a related subject.
Proven experience teaching English at secondary level as an English Teacher.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate learning.
A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.
