Join Our Team: Band 6 Nurse/Therapist – Community CYP Eating Disorder Service

We are seeking afull-time (37.5 hrs) Band 6 Nurse and/or Therapist to join ourCommunity CYP Eating Disorder Team in Central Cheshire. This is your opportunity topromote positive mental well-being and health while providing expert care and support.

What You’ll Do:
• Assess, deliver, and evaluate treatment for young people accepted by our service.
• Provide specialist eating disorder assessments for children & young people with complex health needs.
• Work collaboratively with the team, children, parents, and carers to develop tailored treatment plans using a range of therapeutic approaches.
• Offer consultation and expert advice to professionals, contributing to preventative care.
• Participate in training programmes to support service development.

Contribute to the Community Eating Disorder team assessing, delivering and evaluating the Eating Disorder needs of the young people accepted by the service.
Take responsibility for providing specialist eating disorder assessments to children & young people with complex health needs. In collaboration within team and child/parents/carers deliver a treatment plan that offers a range of therapeutic approaches appropriate to clinical need.
Undertake preventative aspects of service delivery such as offering consultation and expert advice to other professionals and participate in training programmes.
Work within CWP policies and service operational policies responsible, both autonomously and as a member of the multi-disciplinary team, for decisions in accepting, prioritising and assessing referrals to the service.

Cheshire and Wirral Partnership (CWP) provides health and care services for a population of over one million people, including mental health, learning disability, community physical health and all-age disability care, as well as the provision of three GP surgeries in Cheshire.
