Somerset Council is looking for an experienced Landlord and Compliance Specialist to provide technical expertise across various property compliance areas, ensuring safe and effective service delivery across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Property Compliance Expertise – Oversee safety compliance in areas such as radon, water safety, asbestos, and other property-related risks.
Service Management – Lead compliance efforts across multiple sites, ensuring efficient resource deployment.
Legislative & Regulatory Compliance – Ensure all responsibilities align with legal frameworks, government policies, and best practices.
Risk Management – Prevent serious incidents related to non-compliance, safeguarding residents and the Council’s reputation.
Requirements:
DBS Check: Basic
Driving Licence & Business Car Insurance: Required
Qualifications: Relevant professional-level qualification
Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, flexibility, and adaptability

This role is a temporary cover for absence, and agile working may be discussed.
