Job Title: BMS Project and Commissioning EngineerDay-to-Day ResponsibilitiesAs a BMS Project and Commissioning Engineer, your role involves delivering end-to-end site solutions with exceptional professionalism, from initial mobilisation through to final commissioning and client handover. Key tasks include:

-Project Delivery: Oversee the design, configuration, and commissioning of Building Management System (BMS) solutions, including Trend, Tridium, and Distech.

-Design Expertise: Develop and configure controller strategies and schematics, ensuring clear and standardised designs for use by design and commissioning teams.

-Site Visits & Mobilisation: Conduct site surveys to understand plant and site-specific requirements, aligning software strategies and schematics with on-site needs.

-Graphics Head End Commissioning: Take full ownership of the commissioning process, ensuring the system meets client expectations and is fully operational.

-Mentorship & Development: Mentor and coach junior Controls Engineers, sharing expertise to enhance team skill sets and knowledge base.

-System Integration: Verify software strategies during commissioning, ensuring seamless integration using protocols such as Modbus, MBus, and BACnet.

-Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with clients and suppliers to address challenges proactively and deliver tailored solutions.

-Additional Support: Assist with surveys, proposals, and quoting for new projects, and provide occasional support for PPMs and reactive callouts.

Who You'll Work WithYou will join a dynamic National BMS Projects and Operations Team, comprising over 50 engineers, managers, and support staff. Reporting to the Project Managers and Regional Operations Manager, your role will balance on-site activities with remote design work, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing across the team.

Experience & SkillsWe are looking for a skilled professional with a passion for delivering high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate will have:

-Certification or equivalent experience in Niagara Framework (Niagara Certified/Advanced Certified preferred).

-Proficiency in Niagara Wire Sheets, with the ability to develop complex control strategies.

-Expertise in integrating systems through Modbus, MBus, BACnet, and other open protocols.

-Strong understanding of IT networks and IP configuration.

-Familiarity with metering solutions and open protocol designs.

-Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to foster positive relationships with customers and suppliers.

-A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering outstanding results.
