Your role:
• Assist with the process of recruitment, including vetting candidates, assisting with interviews and
issuing employment contracts
• Coordinating logistics for new hire orientations
• Developing and maintaining relationships with employment agencies to ensure the selection of the
best candidates
• Develop detailed understanding and operating knowledge of HR management software system
(knowledge/experience with BambooHR preferred).
• Entering employee data into the HR system
• Managing a company’s performance management/appraisal system and conduct/coordinate appraisal
meetings
• Monitoring various aspects of an employee’s performance, such as attendance and sick leave
• Compiling and maintaining paper, digital and electronic employee records, including holiday and
sickness leaves
• Supporting internal and external inquiries and requests related to HR
• Implementing programs to improve the employee experience of the organisation as a workplace
• Processing payroll and assisting with the documentation of employee compensation and benefits
• Supporting HR-related training programs, workshops and seminars
• Improving, implementing and administering human resources policies and procedures
• Handling employee complaints and disciplinary procedures for the company
• Writing and submitting reports on general HR activities and producing periodic management
information reports
• Overseeing HR events and meetings and coordinating management-employee communications
• Continuously learn the latest HR best practices to improve workplace efficiency
• Accessing the need for training and then designing and implementing training programs accordingly
• Handling any disciplinary processes and formal grievances
Key skills:
• Strong organisational skills to manage records, schedules, and HR documentation.
• Attention to detail for maintaining accurate employee records and documentation.
• Ability to convey HR policies and procedures clearly to staff.
• Knowledge of HR management software in particular BambooHR
• Ability to handle sensitive employee data and confidential information with integrity and discretion.
• Understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment regulations.
• Experience in the recruitment process, including posting job ads, coordinating interviews, and
managing candidate databases.
• Ability to meet deadlines, manage workload effectively, and work under pressure when needed.
