Crynodeb
The post holder (you) will undertake a wide range of clinical duties delivering all aspects of general podiatric care. The post requires the provision of care incorporating the assessment, diagnosis, treatment & management of a range of patients presenting with (but not exclusively) diabetes, peripheral vascular disease, acute &chronic foot wounds, basic MSK needs, as well as those patients with general care needs. In this role, you will work with service colleagues across all bandings &sub-specialities as well as working in close liaison with colleagues from other services, including orthotic services, community nursing teams, wards, residential & nursing homes, & primary & secondary care including service colleagues and others within the local Diabetes MDT. The undertaking of domiciliary care is an important feature of this role. You will work across all service provision settings including but not limited to, community clinics & hospitals, primary care settings, domiciliary settings & as required on a rotational basis, secondary care establishments. Staff rosters may vary depending on service capacity & demands requirements &the post holder will provide cover as directed in managing these factors.
