Crynodeb
The North Cotswold Hospital Minor Injury and Illness Unit (MIiU) is one of 6 units within GHC. We see on average 25 - 40 patients per day from all age groups with a variety of presentations. We manage a mixture of planned returns, booked appointments via our telephone triage service and walk in patients. We work as a cohesive team with everyone's role holding equal value. There are training and development opportunities both inhouse and externally for all staff. Health Care Assistant, Social Care Workers and other Healthcare Support Workers employed by the Trust are required to follow the guidance set out in Code of Conduct for Health Care Assistants/ Health Care Support Workers to provide safe and compassionate care of a high standard, and to challenge others who are not.
