We have an exciting opportunity for a clinical Lead post within The Adult ADHD Service.

The Adult ADHD Service provides assessment, diagnosis and treatment for adults (18+ in Solihull and 25+ in Birmingham) with ADHD. We are currently going through an exciting period of development, including evaluation of our clinical pathways, introduction of reasonable adjustment clinics and a time-limited project offering assessments for ASD to individuals already under our service and where clinically appropriate. In addition, we are a pilot site for BSMHFT’s AI project and Accurx Project.

We are a multi-disciplinary team with a strong ethos of working together for the improvement of the service and the service user experience.

The clinical lead will work alongside the Hub manager in ensuring that clinical standards are monitored and evaluated, and ensuring high quality, safe and effective care is delivered to those accessing our services.

· To provide clinical leadership, support, and supervision to clinical staff. To support the team with advice and guidance on the management of complex clinical cases.

· To work as an integral part of the Adult ADHD Service which will include undertaking direct clinical work for approximately 50% of the contracted hours.

· To provide clinical leadership to ensure clear protocols are in place to:

a) Maintain consistency and quality of care when service users for all service users under the care of the ADHD Service.



b) Support safe, efficient and effective high-quality transitions across the appropriate pathway.

c) Ensure the team works in a collaborative manner with multiagency teams across the Birmingham and Solihull System.



d) Support the team in delivering evidence-based care for the assessment, diagnosis, treatment and management of adults with ADHD
