A dedicated and passionate Cover Supervisor is required to work in Southampton, covering classes across school, to key stage 3, 4 and 5 pupils as soon as possible, on an ongoing basis.
You will be joining a team of highly skilled and committed professionals who are relentless in their pursuit of excellence to provide the best possible education for all our students. You will have the ambition to support the schools young people to on to lead both happy and successful lives.
You will be required to become fully involved with school life. You will be treated like a permanent member of staff, receiving CPD, attending departmental meetings when required, and contributing to parents' evenings as well as delivering captivating, high standard lessons that will stretch the pupils in their learning.
This is a fantastic school that is well established in the area. Students readily assume leadership roles such as volunteering in the library, helping younger pupils to read and by being student leaders. The pupils believe that the school feels like one big family with support from all members of staff. The behaviour in class and around the school is exemplary, which allows teachers to teach to a high standard and maintain positive relationships. The teaching does not end in the classroom with extracurricular activities.
