Are you passionate about supporting early childhood development? A vibrant primary school in Birmingham is seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their Reception team this September.
This full-time position is perfect for a nurturing and committed individual with experience in Early Years settings. You'll be working closely with class teachers to support the learning and development of young children, helping to build the foundations for lifelong learning.
Your Role Will Include:
- Assist with daily classroom routines and activities in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support tailored to individual needs.
- Help deliver engaging, play-based learning activities.
- Promote language development, social skills, and independence.
- Support with classroom displays, observations, and progress tracking.
What We're Looking For:
- Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, Early Years, or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a school-based Early Years setting is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of EYFS framework and early learning goals.
- Caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to learning.
