Summary

Behaviour Mentor - Secondary School - Westminster

We are working with a large and well-resourced secondary school in Westminster to appoint a Behaviour Mentor to support students across KS3 and KS4.


The school has a strong reputation for inclusion and is committed to providing targeted support to students who require help navigating school life both academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide behaviour and emotional support to students across Years 7 to 11, in and out of class
* Work 1:1 and with small groups to address barriers to learning and build positive routines
* Support students in accessing the curriculum and improving engagement in lessons
* Liaise with pastoral staff and teachers to ensure consistent expectations and strategies
* Contribute to progress tracking, pastoral review meetings and individual behaviour plans
* Help students develop confidence, resilience and a sense of belonging in school

Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Experience working with secondary students who require additional support, especially around behaviour or SEMH
* A calm, structured and positive approach to managing behaviour
* Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with vulnerable students
* Confidence in both classroom and one-to-one settings
* Background in youth work, education or support services is highly desirable

Location and Transport - Westminster, London SW1
* Excellent access to Victoria, Pimlico, and Westminster stations
* Served by local bus routes including 11, 24, 148, 507 and C10
* Easily commutable from Central and West London
