We are looking to appoint a compassionate and dedicated Pastoral Support Worker to join our team and make a significant difference in the lives of our students. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a pastoral role or similar to provide a complementary service to the work of Phase Leaders and Teachers to support pupils in overcoming barriers to learning both within and outside school and assist in raising aspirations.

The Chiltern School is an Area Special School in Central Bedfordshire. Our school offers all through education from 3-19 years. Our experienced staff provide stimulating learning opportunities addressing the needs of pupils with moderate, severe and profound learning difficulties. Many of our pupils have associated needs which include communication and social interaction, physical, sensory and medical.
The Chiltern School is committed to the protection and safety of its pupils and all posts within school are subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Check from the Disclosure and barring service.
