About the role:
We are looking for a professionally qualified Health and Safety Adviser to come and work in our Corporate Health and Safety Unit. The post holder will provide health and safety advice, guidance and support to a number of Services, but primarily Housing Services.
About you:
You’ll be:
• Enthusiastic
• Pragmatic
• Experienced in providing health and safety support to construction and
operational services
• Minimum Certified Member of IOSH
What you will do:
• Provide competent health and safety advice, guidance and support to all levels of employees working for the Council.
• Undertake Inspections and Audits
• Undertake incident investigations
• Provide reports, trend analysis (both verbally and written) to the Corporate Team and all levels within the Service Area supported.
• Demonstrate a passion for improving health and safety standards within the
Authority
This position has a requirement for an Enhanced DBS Check
