Experienced Waiters & Wine Waiters Wanted for 4 & 5-Star Events in Central London
We’re currently recruiting Experienced Waiters and Wine Waiters to join our team for luxury events at some of Central London’s most prestigious venues. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of high-profile functions, especially during the busy summer season!
Position Details:
Job Title: Experienced Waiters & Wine Waiters
Location: Central London
Type: Event-based, Part-Time & Full-Time roles
Shifts: Flexible – breakfast, lunch, evening & weekend shifts available
Pay Rate: From £12.21 per hour (weekly pay)
This is an ongoing part-time/ full-time role with regular shifts throughout the year depending on event schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver exceptional table and wine service at formal banquets, receptions, and high-end events
• Present food and beverage offerings professionally and with attention to detail
• Provide knowledgeable wine service, including pouring and pairing recommendations (for Wine Waiters)
• Work closely with event managers and kitchen teams to ensure smooth service
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, presentation, and professionalism
• Engage with guests with warmth, confidence, and attentiveness
Requirements:
• Previous experience as a Waiter or Wine Waiter in luxury hospitality or fine dining
• Polished appearance: formal white or black shirt, black waistcoat, black suit trousers, black tie, black smart shoes
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent knowledge of wine service (Wine Waiters)
• Ability to stay calm and professional in busy environments
• Punctual, reliable, and takes pride in delivering top-tier service
