We are looking for a Carer, a compassionate and attentive person to join our wonderful team caring for the individuals who live at Lynnefield Care Home.
Being part of our team provides the ideal flexible working pattern, with an opportunity to attend training and develop your CPD.
The shifts are rotated in advance to allow time for planning etc.
This opportunity involves working with a friendly, dedicated team and undertaking additional training such as Dementia Champions and QCF in Health and Social Care.
Requirements of the role are to support all personal care, social and well-being and support a healthy and positive home life and workplace.
Additionally, depending on shift the role may include safe administration of medication, light food preparation, cleaning and laundry duties to ensure a safe and clean home environment, and similar supportive duties.
Each new member would be mentored by one of our Senior Carers in addition to shadowing and induction periods.
You are expected to have:
1: QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
2: Valid All Wales Manual Handling Passport.
3: Accredited Level 2 in Safe Administration of Medication.
4: Ability to speak Welsh.
