What skills and experience we're looking for
Proven payroll administration experience in a school environment
Educated to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
Working knowledge of Financial school policies and procedures
Working knowledge of payroll systems and legislation
Excellent knowledge of ICT packages to support specialist area
Robust knowledge using Excel
Working knowledge of teachers’ pay and conditions and support staff terms and conditions
Ability to write detailed reports, letters etc
Ability to use clear language to communicate complex information unambiguously
Ability to listen effectively
Seek support to overcome communication barriers with children and adults
What the school offers its staff
We are seeking to appoint a well organised, efficient and motivated individual, to join our hardworking support staff. As our HR Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our Human Resources department. You will help ensure our school runs smoothly by assisting with recruitment, onboarding, staff records, and HR compliance.
