What skills and experience we're looking for
As an expanding provision across the region, Lighthouse School is seeking to appoint a Head of Therapeutic Support to grow with the school as we meet our vision to provide outstanding education for our students.
This presents a valuable opportunity for a committed an experienced practitioner to work alongside the leadership team to shape and deliver an innovative and ambitious provision. As Head of Therapeutic Support, you will strategically lead on the development and delivery of a comprehensive whole school therapeutic approach, and the universal, targeted and specialist integration of therapeutic support services. This will ensure that therapeutic principles are effectively embedded into the school’s educational and pastoral frameworks.

This role comes with full training, induction and a range of benefits:
• Salary paid across 12 equal monthly instalments, and an increase each September (subject to Trustee approval and the finances of the school).
• Mental health and wellbeing at the heart of everything we do - our staff say they feel supported by the Senior Leadership Team and our Mental Health First Aider Team.

All newly appointed staff who have lived or travelled overseas for 12 months or more in the past 10 years will be required to undertake an overseas check as part of our pre-employment checks.
