Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
Key Responsibilities:
• Promote development and learning (physical, emotional, educational and social), fostering growth, self-esteem and independence of our students. Monitor children’s needs and reporting these to a designated person
• Act in accordance with school policies, procedures and relevant legislation, particularly in relation to child protection and behaviour management.
• Assist with planning and preparation of activities and in the delivery of local and national initiatives e.g. literacy and numeracy strategy.
• Participate in the preparation of the classroom.
• Keep records as required by the school.
• Have familiarity with all relevant Education, Health and Care Plans of special education needs specific to the child.
