The Governing Body wish to appoint proactive, enthusiastic Teaching Assistants, with a commitment to inclusive learning. An ability to contribute to the warm, caring, ethos of our multi-cultural school is essential. The successful candidates should also be able to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills, good interpersonal skills, show initiative, share in the planning and evaluation of activities and work well as part of a dedicated team.
Applicants should be friendly, conscientious, be able to establish genuine relationships with children and their families, have experience of supporting children’s learning through play, be comfortable following children’s interests and most importantly enjoy working with children, including those with Additional Learning Needs. Good standards of numeracy, literacy, and IT skills are needed as well as an understanding of child development.
