Parklands Educate Together Primary Academy is a two form entry school, part of Educate Together Academy Trust that also has schools in Bristol, Keynsham, Bath and Swindon. We are looking for a highly skilled learning support assistant to join our team delivering classroom learning support, group and 1:1 interventions. Experience in working 1:1 with children with additional needs would be beneficial. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting children’s learning and development, and dedicated to helping every child make progress – both academically and emotionally. You will work closely with class teachers to deliver high-quality support, nurture pupils’ confidence, and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.The salary is ETAT Grade B which is currently £24,790 pro rata.The hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30 to 3.30 Monday to Friday ( until 4.30 on Wednesdays for staff meeting). The actual salary for these hours is £19,628.Learning Support Assistants are an integral part of the teaching and learning at our school. LSAs receive high-quality training and CPD and play a full and active part in the decision-making and communication systems across the school.Our schools operate under the following principles:
