Maplewell Hall School is a vibrant and inclusive learning community committed to providing high-quality education and support for all students Are you passionate about food and love working in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking to appoint a Kitchen Assistant to join our expanding team at our Woodhouse Eaves School location.
The successful applicant will need to be confident, organised and self-motivated, and flexible to meet the requirements of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
To assist the Catering Manager in the kitchen with a range of duties as required and to support in serving meals to the students.
• To make sandwiches, staff lunches and to prepare vegetables.
• To generally support the kitchen team in the provision of meals and maintenance of a safe and healthy environment for students and staff.
• To wash dinner pots, cooking tins and utensils.
• To wipe down surfaces and wash floors in the kitchen areas.What we offer: • 20 hours per week 10:00am – 2.30pm (½ hour lunch)
• Term time only 39 weeks (5 teacher training days)
