An exciting opportunity to work in a state of the art educational and community provision. The Governors at Ysgol Bae Baglan are seeking to appoint a Permanent Admin and Organisation Level 3, 32.5 hours per week, 40 weeks per year. Commencing 1st September 2025. The successful applicant will work as part of a large ALN team based in secondary phase.Main tasks and responsibilities linked to the job description
• Deal with telephone and face to face enquiries.
• Support in collating evidence for the IDP process
• Support with taking minutes during PCR meetings
• Assist with the development and implementation of Individual Development Plans
• Liaise with teachers, support staff, parents and outside professionals to gather relevant and purposeful information.
• Contribute to ALN meetings
• Provide feedback to pupils, parents, ALN panel members and outside professionals in relation to progress, achievement, behaviour, attendance etc.
• Health Care Plans for Pupils with School based IDPs / No ALN
• First aid – to be a designated First Aider and to be the link person for First Aiders in school. To include management of first aid kits and ordering of replenished stock.
The post holder will be
1. Be based within the ALN dept. at Ysgol Bae Baglan.
2. Be working in an environment which supports pupils aged 3-16 with additional learning needs
3. Be working in an environment which develops Person centred learning
This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure (Child’s) from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
