As the autumn term approaches, the school is looking to welcome a part-time nursery teacher (3 days a week) to join them in shaping young learners' first steps into education. This position spans the duration of the Autumn term.
Your new role
- Deliver engaging early years material that promotes exploration, imagination, and social growth.
- Build a calm and stimulating environment where every child feels safe, secure, and excited to learn.
- Observe, assess and celebrate developmental milestones in collaboration with families and support staff.
- Encourage curiosity and independence through play-based activities grounded in the EYFS framework.
- Work closely with a strong, supportive team committed to creating a joyful and inclusive early years setting.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience in early years' education, ideally within a nursery setting.
- A nurturing and flexible approach to teaching, with a genuine love for helping young children grow and thrive.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support effective relationships with families and staff.
- Strong awareness of child development principles and the ability to personalise learning experiences.
- A team-focused attitude and a commitment to maintaining a warm, caring classroom culture.
