As part of the eligibility criteria for this role, we require candidates to have completed the relevant National Autistic Society (NAS) training modules.
If you have not yet completed these modules, don't worry - we are happy to support you in obtaining them. You will be provided with direct access to the required training materials. The training costs approximately £180 per hour, and successful completion is necessary prior to commencing the role.
Upon completion, you will receive a certificate from the National Autistic Society, which can serve as a valuable addition to your professional profile. This certification is widely recognised and can strengthen your CV when applying for roles that support individuals with Autism, ADHD, and other neurodiverse conditions.

Job Summary
Provide individualized support to university students facing mental health challenges, utilizing online platforms and in-person interactions. Expertise in supporting neurodiverse learners is essential.
RequirementsCompletion of 6 National Autistic Society Modules and NAS Certification (or willingness to obtain) is required. Candidates must have demonstrated experience supporting students with mental health needs.
Qualification/EducationMembership of a relevant professional body (BACP, BPS, HCPC, NCPS, NMC, SWE, SCW, UMHAN, or COSCA) is essential. A postgraduate qualification in mental health, counseling, or a related field is highly desirable.
ExperienceDemonstrated experience supporting students with mental health needs is essential.
SkillsExceptional interpersonal and communication skills; proficiency in developing individualized support plans; experience with diverse student populations facing mental health challenges; expertise in online support platforms.
