Position: Long Term Teaching Assistant

Randstad Education is seeking a committed and adaptable Teaching Assistant for a long-term role within our partnership schools in Haywards Heath. This position involves supporting the school for one term, two terms, or the entire academic year. You will play a key role in assisting teachers in the classroom, working with small groups, and providing 1:1 support to pupils as needed.
Key Responsibilities:- Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Work with small groups of students to enhance their learning and understanding.
- Provide 1:1 support to pupils with specific learning needs, including SEN.
- Assist in managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Help prepare and organise learning materials and classroom resources.
- Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to support student progress.
- Experience working with children, ideally within a school setting.
- A flexible and adaptable approach to working in different classroom environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently.
- A patient, caring, and supportive attitude towards working with children.
- Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are advantageous but not essential.
